Alexis and Joe were married at Christ Light of the World Parish in Duquesne, Pennsylvania and went on to celebrate with a gorgeous wedding reception at the Embassy Suites near the Pittsburgh airport.
As wedding photographers, it is always a joy to get to take a newly married couple’s bridal portraits against our beautiful city skyline. We headed up to the West End Overlook on our way from the church to the reception and captured some gorgeous Pittsburgh wedding photos of the couple with their bridal party and by themselves.
Say hello to Joe and Alexis!
Of course love blooms here…Alexis received beautiful roses and a card from Joe <3Every wedding needs roses and HASHTAGS! LOL.Oh, just Joe contemplating becoming a married man…How cute is this ring shot on the Wall Street Journal that displays their wedding date?!?This flower girl apparently did not want to be held!Little man, on the other hand, did not mind one bit.It takes an army to help a bride put on her wedding gown 🙂Alexis has gorgeous dancer’s legs! This is such a graceful image, it is easily one of my all time favorites of a bride putting on her shoes <3Mom, stop crying! The veil going on is one of the most emotionally charged moments of a wedding day. This flower girl loved the koi pond 🙂As I raced ahead to get ready for the girls to leave the hotel, I caught this awesome shot of Alexis coming down the elevator.Every single moment matters, such as this beautiful image of Alexis walking out of the hotel to the limo. When couples look through their images, they are reliving their wedding day, one moment at a time.Look at those beautiful skies! We seriously could not have had more perfect weather! You’re not nervous, are you Joe?These flower girls and ring bearer did such a perfect job. Look at all those cell phones capturing their cuteness!Lexi, can you be any more beautiful?!?Is that veil amazing? All I can say about trying to capture a photo of all the little ones…..it was a riot!West End Overlook!Seriously, we were so BLESSED with those blue skies!I LOVE capturing sweet, unsuspecting moments like this <3How could you not be happy! Alexis and Joe’s entrance was such a celebration!Joe was definitely NOT a polite gentleman when it came time to share the cake 😉Both of Alexis and Joe’s dads gave the most moving speeches, even I was crying! There was a special visitor who treated guests with a performance of 80’s disco dancing. The guys had their turn singing a special song together.Seriously one of my favorite photos of you two!!!
